The Atlantic Eagle is a powerful emergency towing vessel (ETV) stationed on Canada’s West Coast to protect the British Columbia shoreline from environmental disasters. Leased from Atlantic Towing Limited as part of the Oceans Protection Plan, this 75-meter anchor-handling tug is specifically tasked with intercepting and towing large disabled commercial ships, such as tankers and container vessels, in the turbulent waters of the Pacific Northwest. With a massive bollard pull of roughly 162 tonnes and advanced firefighting capabilities, it serves as a critical frontline asset for the Canadian Coast Guard, frequently patrolling the northern coast and Haida Gwaii to ensure marine safety and rapid incident response. “Elegance Velvet” paper is a cold press paper, featuring a subtle texture similar to that of cold pressed watercolor paper. It weighs 300 gsm, giving it a substantial, heavy feel. Made from 100% cotton rag, it is naturally acid-free and archival, making it a standard choice for professional Fine Art reproduction prints. Its longevity is rated for over 100 years. As with most modern prints and papers, when properly stored and framed, they typically exceed the official 100-year rating for fade resistance and durability.
