20×16, Acrylic on Canvas, The Sea Imp IX, designed by A.G. McIllwaine and constructed by Sylte’s Shipyard in 2007, is a 1,000-horsepower twin-screw vessel used for towing log booms, barges, yarding, and ship berthing. It operates along the entire British Columbia coastline for Catherwood Towing Ltd., a family-run company with over 51 years of service. Recently, Catherwood was honored with induction into the Fraser River Discovery Centre’s Hall of Fame.
